Olivia Bergert excelled in her studies at the University of North Florida, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual Bachelor's Degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Her academic prowess led her to Stetson University College of Law, where she was actively involved as an Executive Board Member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and chaired the Stetson Intramural Mock Trial Competition.

During her tenure at Stetson, Ms. Bergert was a vital member of the country's top-ranked Trial Team and uniquely prosecuted a jury trial as a law student, marking the beginning of her rapid advancement in the legal field. By the age of 25, she had already made significant strides at the State Attorney’s Office. Before her transition to criminal defense, Ms. Bergert served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida's 7th Judicial Circuit, covering counties like St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler, and Volusia. Her exceptional performance in the Misdemeanor Division at the Volusia County Office, where she led in prosecuting jury trials, fast-tracked her promotion to handling felony cases, making her the youngest felony prosecutor in the circuit.

In her subsequent role at the St. Johns County Office's Felony Division, Ms. Bergert managed a vast array of serious felony cases, including but not limited to Aggravated Battery, Domestic Violence Strangulation, DUI Manslaughter, and Drug Trafficking. Her experience extends to cases involving significant sentencing enhancements like Habitual Felony Offender and Prison Release Re-Offender status. Ms. Bergert’s deep understanding of criminal law, her adeptness in navigating complex criminal litigation, and her ability to identify pivotal legal issues contribute significantly to our mission of achieving the most favorable outcomes for our clients.
