Gregory in the 14th Judicial Circuit in Beaufort, South Carolina. He subsequently joined the 13th Judicial Circuit in Greenville as an Assistant Solicitor, where his responsibilities included prosecuting a range of cases from violent crimes and drug offenses to DUIs, as well as overseeing the court docket for the Solicitor’s Office. In 1996, Dan transitioned into private practice while also taking on defense work for the Greenville County Public Defender’s Office. Notably, he secured a Not Guilty verdict in his first murder case defense in December of 1997. After several years in Greenville, Dan relocated to South Central Virginia, his childhood home, and opened a second law office. His contributions to the legal community there included two terms as President of the Tenth Circuit Bar Association and multiple terms on the Board of Governors for the Virginia State Bar General Practice Section. His Virginia practice spanned various legal areas, including Wrongful Death, Injury cases, Disability claims, Criminal and DUI defense, Real Estate, Small Business formations, Contract disputes, and Wills and Estates. Returning to the Upstate, Dan has, over the past two decades, concentrated on Wrongful Death and Traumatic Injury cases, Criminal Law, Nursing Home Neglect and Abuse, and Police Misconduct claims.
