About Steven Kramer

Steven Kramer is an alumnus of North Adams State College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology. He went on to acquire his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law and furthered his education with an LLM in Elder Law & Estate Planning from Western New England School of Law. Kramer is duly admitted to practice in the New York State Bar as well as in the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. His professional focus lies in Trusts and Estates and Elder Law, and he is recognized as a certified student loan counselor by the National Association of Credit Counselors.

Kramer is a seasoned lecturer, having shared his knowledge with a wide array of professional organizations including the New York State Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute, and numerous unions and educational institutions across New York. His audience has spanned from legal professionals to educators, public service employees, financial planners, and healthcare providers, contributing significantly to the broader understanding of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and related financial issues.

In addition to his speaking engagements, Kramer actively contributes to the professional community by providing Continuing Education credits through his lectures for New York-based social workers, nurses, and case managers. He is the visionary behind the Estate Wellness Forum and the Medicaid Coordinator Round Table, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing the fields of elder law and estate planning. Kramer also serves on the board of the Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition, further underlining his dedication to community service. His past roles include serving as a trustee for North Adams State College, and he is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
