About Jamy Barreau, Esq., LL.M

Hailing from his hometown of Port St. Lucie, attorney Jamy Barreau brings a wealth of experience in managing diverse aspects concerning the preservation of generational wealth. His expertise encompasses matters related to trusts, estates, and business planning. As a first-generation Haitian American, Jamy's commitment to the legal profession has been unwavering. His educational journey began with high honors at St. Lucie West Centennial High School in 2009, where his involvement in the Criminal Justice Academy allowed him to advocate for the 19th Judicial Circuit’s Teen Court program.

Following his high school graduation, Jamy pursued a B.S. in Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida, balancing full-time studies with a full-time role at Universal Studios Orlando. His academic pursuits continued at Barry University School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Law Review Journal as a Research and Technical Editor. In 2017, he graduated from Barry Law and returned to the Treasure Coast, gaining valuable experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, business planning, residential mortgage foreclosures, and evictions.

Recognizing the profound impact of generational wealth on society and the importance of paving the way for future success, Jamy dedicated himself to guiding individuals in his community through these critical matters. To deepen his knowledge and capabilities, he completed his LL.M. in taxation with a concentration in estate planning at Boston University School of Law in 2021. In his leisure time, Jamy shares his expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Concord Law School at Purdue University Global. He remains committed to expanding his understanding to better serve his community.
