About Kaitlin S. DiMaggio
Kaitlin Simone DiMaggio, a graduate of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, embarked on her legal journey with a deeply personal motivation. She chose to pursue a career in law to represent a close family member who had been unjustly sentenced to a life in prison without the possibility of parole. This personal experience ignited her fervent commitment to assisting others entangled in the complex legal system.
During her tenure in law school, Kaitlin devoted more than 350 hours to pro bono work, focusing on post-conviction cases where individuals faced manifest injustices or claimed innocence. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Counseling degree from Arizona State University and maintains an active therapy license.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Kaitlin worked as a licensed therapist, where she played a pivotal role at a court-mandated counseling agency. In this capacity, she conducted both group and individual therapy sessions for individuals convicted of domestic violence and drug-related offenses. Her responsibilities expanded as she ascended to the position of Clinical Supervisor for an offender treatment program and later became a Program Manager for a government contract. Kaitlin is a staunch advocate for reform in the realm of criminal justice and remains impassioned about assisting clients navigating the legal system.
Kaitlin's professional experience encompasses a broad spectrum of criminal cases, including those related to domestic violence, sex-related offenses, DUIs, and more. She has also delved into numerous post-conviction cases and parole hearings. Moreover, Simone has established herself as a dedicated advocate for clients dealing with family court matters, contributing to cases involving custody disputes, divorce proceedings, and child support issues.
