Nikki Hawkins serves as a Partner in the Jacksonville Office and is a seasoned trial lawyer specializing in the defense of catastrophic claims related to wrongful death and personal injuries. Her expertise extends to handling automobile and trucking claims, SIU and fraud-related matters, as well as first-party property (FPP) insurance defense.

With an extensive trial background in Duval and Baker Counties, Nikki has earned a reputation as a tenacious and professional lawyer. Beyond her prowess in the courtroom, she has authored multiple appellate briefs and successfully argued cases leading to decisions being overturned in the District Courts of Appeal in Florida. Committed to children's rights, Nikki also dedicates her time as an Attorney Ad Litem for children in dependency hearings before the Court.

Boasting nearly two decades of experience, Nikki has held key roles within two major insurance carriers. For three years, she served as a Special Investigator, focusing on medical billing fraud and insurance fraud. Her efforts resulted in two arrests within a year, recovering over $600,000 and an additional $400,000 in non-payment of pended PIP billing. As the project manager, Nikki led a coalition Task Force investigating medical billing fraud in collaboration with the Florida Department of Insurance Fraud and Federal Medicaid/Medicare Special Agents. This initiative culminated in the recovery of over $400,000 in Medicare/Worker’s Compensation fraud for the state of Florida.
