Born in 1976 in New Rochelle, NY, Tim spent his formative years in the quaint town of Hopewell Junction, NY, before making a conscious choice to escape the cold and relocate to the tropical paradise of South Florida. Presently, he resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife, Jessica, and their three children: Noah, Annabelle, and Julia. Their household also includes six dogs: Luna, Hugo, Jefferson, Oscar, Sherlock, and Poppy. When not with his family, Tim's preferred setting is the courtroom.

In 2001, Tim graduated with magna cum laude honors from Florida Atlantic University, and subsequently, he pursued his legal education at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, completing his studies in 2004. He is a member of the Florida Bar and holds licenses to practice in all Florida State courts, state appellate courts, the Florida Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
