Additionally, Los Angeles Magazine honored her as one of Southern California’s Top Young Attorneys, and she was named a Top Attorney by California’s Top Attorneys in 2020. Catalina was also the recipient of the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars Honoree Award in 2020. A graduate of the Trial Lawyer’s College in 2018, she has been an active member of CAALA for over a decade. Catalina earned her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, where she was a Schumacher Scholarship recipient and a Dean’s Scholar. Graduating in May 2011 within the top 20% of her class, she actively participated in Southwestern’s Moot Court Honors Program. Her accomplishments in this program include securing Second Place in Southwestern’s Intramural Moot Court Competition in 2009 and representing Southwestern in two National Moot Court competitions across the country.
