Safora Nowrouzi achieved her Juris Doctor degree from the California Western School of Law in the picturesque city of San Diego, spanning her expertise from real estate to law. She currently serves as an active real estate broker in the state of California. Safora specializes in assisting California homeowners in avoiding foreclosure through her expertise in foreclosure defense. Holding a Masters in Commercial Real Estate with a focus on Development from Georgetown University, she has honed her skills to adeptly navigate the intricacies, laws, and strategies involved in commercial real estate transactions. Beyond this, Safora serves as outside general counsel for various development firms throughout Los Angeles. During her academic journey, Safora interned for two years with Cal Western’s trademark clinic, gaining invaluable experience before being admitted to the California State Bar. In this capacity, she represented small business owners before the United States Patent and Trade Organization (USPTO) in their trademark registration processes. As a 2L, Safora was one of the five students selected from the entire school to participate in the American Bar Association’s Judicial Clerkship Program at the ABA’s 2015 mid-year meeting in Houston, Texas. There, she collaborated on hypothetical cases alongside state and circuit court judges from across the nation. Following this, Safora held a judicial externship position for the Honorable Joel Pressman of the San Diego Superior Court. In this role, she gained exposure to the art of lawyering and contributed to drafting tentative rulings for various civil and complex cases.
