Matthew M. Williams, a cum laude graduate of Northern Illinois University, has practiced family law for over two decades. Before entering the legal field, he worked extensively in long-term care, first with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients and later with children facing severe behavioral and mental health challenges. This background gives him a distinct ability to support clients through difficult personal circumstances. Outside of his practice, Matthew has been married for more than 25 years, and together with his wife—who has a long career with DCFS—he has raised two children pursuing academic and professional paths in psychology, education, and the arts.
