Thomas hails from Jesup, Georgia, and pursued his undergraduate studies in business administration with a focus on international business and corporate law at Mercer University. His academic journey included international exchanges at Oxford University in England and Bond University in Australia, leading to his Magna Cum Laude graduation. This academic excellence paved the way for his immediate entry into Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law.

In law school, Thomas excelled, ranking in the top five percent of his class and earning numerous awards. He enhanced his knowledge with an Advanced Certification in Legal Writing and gained practical experience through clerkships with the Macon Judicial Circuit Court and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. His efforts culminated in earning a Cum Laude Juris Doctorate, followed by a swift recruitment as an Associate Attorney at Hunton and Williams, LLP, a prominent international law firm.

Thomas's tenure at Hunton and Williams was marked by rapid advancement, leading him to a Managing Partner role at McCalla Raymer, LLC, a major regional law firm in the United States. There, he led over 500 cases in business and financial services litigation, boasting a success rate of over 99% in final rulings.

Driven by a desire to make a difference closer to his roots, Thomas returned to Georgia after twelve years in Atlanta to establish Howell Law LLC in Statesboro. His mission is to offer accessible, top-notch legal services, characterized by clear communication, empathy, and steadfast resolve to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
