Ted Bernhard is the managing partner of the Oregon office of Cultiva Law, PLLC, the leading cannabis-focused boutique business law firm on the West Coast. A seasoned business transactional attorney with over two decades of expertise in corporate, securities, tax, real estate and regulatory law, Ted enjoys working closely as outside general counsel with entrepreneurs, investors and thought leaders in the cannabis industry and is an expert in structuring complex financial transactions in highly-regulated, rapidly expanding industries. Recognized as a leader in the industry, Ted is a member of the Oregon Retail Cannabis Association, The Cannabis and Psychedlics Section of the Oregon State Bar and the International Cannabis Bar Association and is a frequent speaker at cannabis Continuing Legal Education events and industry conferences. He holds a degree in Mathematical Economics, magna cum lauda, from Princeton University and, prior to joining Cultiva Law, was a partner of several venture capital funds, an investment banker and an analyst with consulting firm Booz Allen and Hamilton in New York City. When he's not helping his clients grow their businesses, Ted enjoys photography and volunteering.
