About Marissa L. Curry
Marissa L. Curry is the owner of the Curry Law Firm PC, currently located in Carthage, NC, which she established in 2006 after receiving her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a North Carolina Certified Family Financial Mediator. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Moore County Bar Association, where she has been the Bar President since 2019. She has been named one of the “Top Ten” Family Lawyers in North Carolina each year since 2017.
As an attorney, for the past 15 years, her primary focus has been in Family Law. She focuses her practice on the needs of her clients who are facing life-changing legal matters surrounding divorce and family law including child custody and child support, paternity, adoptions, post-separation support, alimony, and equitable distribution. In addition, she is experienced in criminal law (in both District and Superior Courts), real estate law, juvenile law, and Department of Social Services.
