Paul graduated from the University of Tennessee (With Honors) and Emory University School of Law. Paul has been a resident of Atlanta since relocating from his birth city, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1968. Paul is married to Holly Dietrick, with whom he has two grown girls, Laureen Anderson and Francis Dietrick.
