Madison, GA Criminal Defense AttorneyGuy J. Notte embarked on his legal journey by attending John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, from 1964 to 1966. Following his relocation to Atlanta, he officially commenced his legal practice in May 1968. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Notte served as a Captain in the United States Army within the realm of U.S. Army Intelligence. In December 1969, after concluding his military service, he transitioned into actively practicing criminal defense and personal injury law in Atlanta. Throughout his career, Mr. Notte has defended individuals facing criminal charges in numerous states, both in Federal and State Courts. Notably, in 1974, he had the privilege of presenting before and gaining admission to the United States Supreme Court. Furthermore, he holds admission to practice in all Federal District Courts in Georgia, as well as the Federal District Court of Columbia and South Carolina. Mr. Notte's legal practice extends across a broad geographic spectrum, representing clients from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and from New York to Florida. In the subsequent illustrative cases that will be presented, it will become evident that Mr. Notte has consistently been at the forefront of shaping legal precedents and advocating for exceptions to established legal principles.
