Hailing from Farmington, New Mexico, Dathan is a fourth-generation attorney who has been practicing law since 2002. His primary focus lies in trial practice, where he passionately advocates for individuals and their families who have suffered injuries in various circumstances, including trucking accidents, aviation incidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful deaths. Notably, Dathan and Weems Hazen Law are dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence by pursuing legal action against assailants and associated parties, regardless of the likelihood of financial recovery. Dathan's commitment to the legal profession extends to his role as an educator, where he imparts his expertise in mediation, negotiation, and client counseling at the University School of Law. He firmly believes that lawyers best serve their clients by offering a comprehensive range of conflict resolution methods, and he is dedicated to equipping Weems Hazen Law's clients with a diverse skill set. He relishes supporting his children in their pursuits and cherishes moments of relaxation, whether it's watching movies or playing board games together at home. That said, the only exception to his at-home activities is when the New Mexico United has a home game.
