With over 14 years of experience, Kristine Honiotes is an accomplished trial lawyer. Formerly serving as a Will County Assistant Public Defender, she adeptly handled a diverse range of cases, including felonies and misdemeanors such as murder, domestic violence, DUI, drug offenses, and other serious felony charges. For eight years, Ms. Honiotes played a crucial role as one of two Assistant Public Defenders in the Will County Drug Court Program, contributing to the development of the Heroin Relapse and Prevention Protocol in collaboration with the Will County State's Attorney and the Court.

During her career, she actively participated in the creation of the Will County Veteran's and Service Member's Court and the Adult Redeploy Illinois Specialty Court. These experiences provided her with unique insights into working with individuals facing addiction issues. Kristine has received specialized training from reputable institutions such as the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, the Illinois Association of Problem-solving Courts, and the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority: Adult Redeploy Illinois Program. Kristine Honiotes earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2005, following her earlier achievement of a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002.
