About Kenneth C. Apicella

Ken Apicella, a founding partner, specializes in insurance coverage disputes, personal injury, employment, and civil litigation. He obtained his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, gaining admission to the Illinois Bar in 1999. Over the years, Ken has successfully secured tens of millions of dollars for his clients through settlements and trials.

Beyond his local practice in Illinois, Ken extends his services on a pro hac vice basis, representing clients in courts across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Iowa, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Washington, and Hawaii. Ken Apicella is a member of the Northern District of Illinois’ Trial Bar and holds admissions to practice before the United States Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th and 7th Circuits.

Active in various legal associations, Ken is a current member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. He was elected to the Board of Governors for the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, where he currently serves as the First Vice President on the Executive Board. Recognized for his legal prowess, Ken has earned the designations of "Super Lawyer" and "Rising Star" by Thompson Reuters, accolades reserved for only 5% of attorneys nationally, based on professional achievements and peer recognition.

In 2009, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin honored Ken as one of Forty Illinois Attorneys under Forty to Watch.
